Hello and welcome to Embrace the Curls. I am located inside West Side Styles - 442 college st, wadsworth oh 44281. My name is Samantha. I am a curlologist - I specialize in curly hair! (But I also work on straight hair as well). “I live curly every day! I want to help people discover their curly potential, and I want to help the whole family from babies, kids, and teens to adults” I became a licensed cosmetologist in June of 2008 and love the self care industry. I studied and became a color certified artist with Redken. Then, in 2010, I became a Deva Curl inspired artist and started working on curly hair. I have been to New York many times once in 2012 for the principle base cutting techniques, which transformed how I can create shapes on all texture types, including straight hair. I continued with the Deva training in 2017 to become an Advanced Deva Curl Specialist at the Devachan salon in Soho, New York (these are just a few of the classes I have attended) During the 2020 pandemic, I continued training and discovered the Mizani brand through Redken when they teamed up. I experienced the Zoom texture academy with Mizani to become a texture expert. I opened my own business in Sept 2021 and named it Embrace The Curls. I started a new adventure at Marigold Wellness Collective in Sep 2021. Now, come see me at the newest location in Wadsworth, just west of downtown.
